Brian Sack
I started Banterist in 2003 after this conversation with my cat. It led to all sorts of good things.

I’m not sure if there’s some sort of grammar court of appeals but there actually is a Milwaukie, OR.
[ Well I’ll be damned. I’m the Mike Nifong of grammar prosecutions! -B. ]
Milwaukie is the last place I lived before moving to Krakow. I didn’t even realize “the other Milwaukee” was spelled differently until I checked a moment ago.
Does the Bruce Willis roll come with poppy seeds? Just curious.
To make matters even worse (better?) on the first entry, there is the incorrect possessive “auto’s” on the Dick Hannah ad to the right of the train accident story.
[ Yes, I subtly highlighted that to see if anyone notice’d. -B. ]
The news source in Oregon may be cleared of charges, but what about the advertiser?
Well, if Milwaukie isn’t spelt wrong, then you can fine the perps for incorrect usage of an apostrophe in the ad at the top right corner!
