My thoughts exactly. We have so much emotion and money invested into our babies that we would be very unhappy to have them killed. Suzy found two cans of the stuff in our stash which she prompt trashed. Now she is thinking of making the cat food from scratch.
With a name like “Phoenix” I hope they try to cremate the cat.
I was raised in a house full of cats, and loved having them around. But I’ve always felt that the problem with cats, as pets, is that sooner or latter, they depart our world for kitty heaven….
…and the problem is that they are too big to flush down the loo.
Same problem applies to: dogs, rabbits, and Republicans.
Everyone sees this as a great disaster when, with a little salt and time in the sun, these pets can serve others – as a tasty jerky for the homeless.
Long view, people, long view!

I just bought a case of the tainted food. You never know when Lomond might cause me to miss an opportunity to go drinkin’ after work because I have to go home to feed the dog. But now, thanks to the Manufacturer’s Association for Dog Food Utilization of Canada(MADFUC) and their lax standads, THAT won’t be a problem any more.
