Is it still copyright infringement if you get the name of the company wrong?

I started Banterist in 2003 after this conversation with my cat. It led to all sorts of good things.

How could someone mess that up? Engrish…
*snicker* It says TITch. *snort*
Hey baby! Nice Titch! (hic)
They even got the Abercrombif part incorrect. I guess it’s still better than Whateverbie & B*tch.

HA HA HA… Just because the company producing the ad is big, doesn’t mean they are about to shell out any bucks for non-counterfeit items…
For those of us with daughters who have been in an Abercrombie store, let me say the shirt is not too far off the mark. I think (but am not certain) that Abercrombie is in China under a different name. It has retail stores selling similar clothes, for less than in the U.S., but under a different brand name.
As long as they don’t screw up the “GRILS GONE WILB” shirts or the “Jakrabnif” vibrators.
