Someone was nice enough to put this clip of my weekly Glenn Beck segment online. I used to put all my segments online, but it gets time consuming what with the downloading and transferring and converting and uploading and all that.
I wish I could just point a laser at something and have it appear on YouTube.
You poor suckers… to have to suffer like this for months (and years) leading up to an election.
In Canada, we recently called an election and all parties campaigned for 37 days (!) prior to Election Day (Oct.15th). The party who wins the most ridings across Canada in the House of Commons (usually)forms the next government. Relatively simple.
Our leaders were so boring and uninspiring that we had the lowest voter turnout in Canadian history (approximately 59.1%).
The goods news is we only had to put up with 37 days of campaigning at a taxpayer cost of 300 million dollars. It looks like we could lap you and have 4-6 elections in the time it takes you to have one.
Our election campaigns are like pulling a bandaid off– after all, do you really need months to form an opinion on the leaders and the issues?

I always thought that if sex could talk, it would be a little more coherent than that.
Recall the post about the overzealous comment filter. Apparently the current comment filter needs to be a bit more of a zealot.
Yeah, they make it a lose-lose for everyone.
