I started Banterist in 2003 after this conversation with my cat. It led to all sorts of good things.

Sheer brilliance. but i think you need a couple of addl combos for ” Grin maniacally” and ” Sing needlessly in your movies”
i’d be interested in playing this if only to see Tom self destruct. btw, are we talking carreer destruction or physiological destruction . . . either would be ok.
How about a “Deflect Humour” button?
Kowgurl – Yes, so I’m not the only one who’s noticed he’s got the most crazy, evil, “maniacal” grins.
He should’ve play Darth Sidious in the recent star wars episodes.
See my post to see what I mean:
http://northernva.info/blog/?p=15
Where is the yell “I love this woman button”?
[ Once you have acquired at least six Thetans it’s Marriage On/Off + Up + X + Y ]
where’s the “offend brooke shields” button?
[ Alienation Menu, under the Post-Partum Assault column. -B>
They left off the “JUMP THE SHARK” button!!!
Hilarious. Why don’t they make the games we actually want to play??
please add a disappear button
I think he has absolutely lost his mind and head is going to explode like in that movie, what was it, scammers?
Secret button combos should allow game players to cruise for young non-English speaking boyfriends in Thai Town.
Secret warp zones would allow you to fight Matt Lauer.
I WOULD PLAY THIS VIDEO GAME!
hi
Seems as though Tom could use some help from those he criticizes so sharply. Any shrinks out there with a prescription pad and comfy chair from this idiot man? Maybe his next movie should be a remake of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
I don’t think poor Tommy’s third grade reading level actually allowed him to know the difference between psychiatry and psychology, let alone how either science functions. If he did, when he read the part about the highly suggestive, bi-polar narcissist he would have recognized himself.
I’m currently developing a new Donkey Konga song for Mr. Cruise, it’s the 60’s offbeat hit, “They’re Coming To Take Me Away.”
Tom needs a Psychiatrist, He is very ill, a person who is afraid of something will attack it.
tom, i think the aliens have led you to believe that your great movie success has given you the insight to evaluate your co-stars like you were the only one that knows what is right or wrong. TOM, get on with your personal life and keep your comments to yourself. nobody likes to hear you slam your co-stars. let them live their own lives. and keep you and your new love out of the lime light.
viske
Tom Cruse is a very good actor. However he is just
and he may not rember this is just a common person
and his education may not be such that he thinks he is a lot smarter than he really is. Once you
make a lot of money quickly like he did you sometimes just do not know how to handle it. i dont think his mind can keep up with his mouth.
Brook Shields is a far smarter person that Tom would ever hope to be and a lot of people have
depresion or are Bi Polar and even tho he does not
think these things exist They do
so Tom,take a chill pill and grow up and stop trying to put your will on a lot of people who are by themselves a lot smarter than you are.
What about a “How young can I go before I get arrested (or lose I lose enough fans, to hurt the wallet)?” button?
I’d settle for a good old fashioned “OFF” switch.
I don’t think Cruise should be shunned for an opinion. He could’ve been more subtle in not calling out Brooke Shields to prove his point, but I really don’t understand this whole “HOLLYWOOD BACKLASH!” bs.
Clever game idea. :)
If only the creators of real X-Box games were humorous?
So, let’s put our money where our mouths are— DON’T GO TO WAR OF THE WORLDS. I don’t think I could stomach seeing him on the big screen anyway after all his ranting and raving.
Cruise has gone too far this time. I only hope that someday he falls into that black hole called depression. Let’s see if vitamins and exercise get him out, or if he sings another tune. Yes, he does grin maniacally doesn’t he?!
How about a button for “put head up arse”?
Geez — a bonehead actor who thinks he knows more than the doctors who have studied and treated patients for years and decades.
No doubt there are some excesses in psychiatry (for example, do there need to be that many kids on meds for ADD?), but Tom is way over the top.
Tom should star in a movie version of the old Warner Brothers “Looney Toons” cartoons.
who gives a shit about his personal beliefs…he’s a dang actor for christ sake. Just promote the damn movie and shut the fu*k up about your belief in Scientology….By the way: Scientology is a neuvo belief system invented by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Hello ?
I think a mute button would do nicely. T.C’s comments wouldn’t be quite so bad if it wasn’t so painfully obvious he was doing it for publicity, and the arrogance is quite annoying…Who says his opinions are right? Did he even finish High-school? Tom, one word…Valum.
He doesn’t believe in therapy. An “auditor” in Scientology is nothing more than a therapist, basically. An unqualified one. I am a Microbiologist and Biochemical Engineer and I have read “Dianetics”. Talk about a “pseudo-science” in a “pseudo-religion”.
The only thing I can really call Scientology is a money grabbing scam for the Church of Scientology. Their “god” in money which is why they go after the celebrities.
MJK
Since Cruise is a devotee of Scientology, The key word is Science Fiction! Now he is a Dr. of Psychiatry!! Imagine, he knows more than the professionals. And,by the way, he was unbelievably rude to Mat Laur. What a nut!.
The longer Cruise talks, the more obvious it is that he DOES psychiatric therapy.
I would Like one senario of this game to be placing him in a cell with a criminal psyco
put on “The Scientology Program”. A 300 lb.
lunatic off his meds with only L. Ron Hubbard
to silence the voices that are teling him to
bend Tom over then paint the walls with his brains. Hubbard could’nt even write diecent Science Fiction, why trust him with a religion.
The reason Tom believes that Psychiatry is a fake science is because it doesn’t have the word science in it like his savior Scientology…
Tom, I stuck up for you for many years, being a Jersey Girl & a fan since Risky Business I would say, “he is a good actor”. However, everyone in our family calls him an A-hole. Now I have to say the same, having nothing to do with his acting but as a man, raised by women, and acts like an endless child!! I hope Katie grows up really fast and sees that he is old enough to be her father. Oh right, he can’t make babies!!. So where does a man who never had a baby, can’t make babies & has never been with a pregnant woman, dares to say there is no such thing as depression!!
I am a 52 yr old woman that has had 3 children & on the onset of menopause, I suffered a Gran Mal Seizure and was in a comma for 33 hrs. Now I don’t think vitamins or exercise could have ever helped me. It was called “due to a hormonal in balance”! Oh right there is no such thing according to Tom. Thank God, Tom isn’t a doctor!! Or I would be dead right now.
He is in a manic moment, acting childlike. Maybe he is stuck in his 16th year. First he marries Mimi Rodgers, older than himself, everyone thought he was looking for a mother figure. (She got rid of him real quick & good for her) Then Nicole Kidman, adopts a family (becuase he can’t make one!) Why, is it chemical, physical or mental, Tom? And lets face it, Nicole is smarter, prettier, and a much better actor! Poor Nicole, I just hope she didn’t waste her child bearing years on him! And now, he is with women 15-20 years younger than himself. I guess he now wants to be a father figure. What is wrong with this Man? Oh, I mean Boy!!
What a shame that Tom thinks that it is his birth right to up-stage everyone, especially people far more talented than he. That could be his defence button! Steve Spielberg should stop him from doing any promos, Tom’s fellow actors should out-cast him for good. Because Tom you did it to yourself, just being your “crazy” self. I guess then you would have to spend the rest of your living days exercising & taking ton’s of vitamins trying to get yourself out of your fake depression! Is there an under-lying problem here, could it be that he is in a mid-life crisis, and vitamins & exercise has him acting crazy? Could he be upset that ex-wife is better at her job than he is and he can’t handle it, so he left her, in a fit of fake depression? Who died and left him God??
Tom’s comment regarding psychiatry was a well needed dose of reality for this country. I’m not sure why everyone is rushing to defend psychiatry all of a sudden, or psychiatry’s partner the multibillion dollar pharmaceutical industry which spends 3 times the amount of money on marketing and advertising than it does on research and development. Tom Cruise was, without a doubt, 100% accurate in his comments about psychiatry being a pseudo-science. Many psychiatrists themselves have come forward and written books about the dangers of the medicines they prescribe to treat human emotional suffering, as well as how the studies used to support the use of these dangerous psychotropic medications are some of the worst research in the history of science. Anyone who is interested should read Dr. Peter Breggin’s 1991 book “Toxic Psychiatry”. Dr. Peter Breggin is a psychiatrist. Or, Robert Whitaker’s 2003 book “Mad in America: Bad Science, Bad Medicine, and the Enduring Mistreatment of the Mentally Ill”. Our society needs to change the way it views “mental illness,” and Tom Cruise should be congratulated for taking a stand on the issue.
I think Cruise forgot to take his meds, and has been having episodes he can’t control. Take it easy on him….
UNTIL MR CRUISE POPS OUT A BABY AND GOES THRU ALL THE CHEMICAL ( HORMONAL ) CHANGES OF PREGNANCY HE NEEDS TO BONE UP ON SAID. OR IT MAY BACKFIRE ON YOU TOM WHEN KATIE HAS YOUR BABY. HOPE SHE DOESN’T GET CHEMICALLY IMBALANCED.
Concerned: you really concern me.
I will agree that there are some major concerns about the amount and types of medication that psychiatrists dole out to their patients. This has been a problem for centuries. The human brain and the chemicals ruling over it are still being discovered and studied. If someone other than an entertainer had brought up the subject, we might not have seen such a backlash from so many people.
Quite simply, though, Tom Cruise is an idiot. He is an actor. He is a cultist. He is a high school drop out. He is an over-the-hill male going through a severe midlife crisis. Why in the world should anyone listen to him, let alone applaude him?!?!
He didn’t even have the insight to back up his claims during the Today interview. He sat back arrogantly and said that there was no way that Matt Lauer could possibly know a smidgen of what Tom Cruise could know about psychiatry. And, poor Brooke Shields was just a bad mother and a bad person for dealing with her postpartum depression.
Um, excuse me! Matt Lauer at least graduated from college (Ohio University). Ms. Shields graduated from Princeton, one of the more auspicious institutions of this country. But, I’m sure Tom Cruise, the high school drop out, knows a lot more than either of them. Especially when he’s been spoon fed the ‘facts’ from a psychotic, Aleister Crowley-following, low-rate science fiction writer who created a pseudo religion on a bar bet with a drinking buddy.
…
Oh, and I’ll order a gross of the X-box game if you have a secret level where Marty Holmes (Katie’s high-fallutin’ lawyer father) sue Tommy boy off the planet and back to the alien existence that he so needs. Beam him up Scotty!
Congratulate Tom? Only if he apologilezed to all WOMEN, on national TV and he sits there CALM without any antics Like a grown up Man and explained, I AM IN A MIDLIFE CRISIS, RECOGNIZING IT AND SAYING THAT HE IS DEALING WITH IT! And maybe stating how Scientology is helping him through it, Then that would be free speech of what he believes in. Then good for him.
As far as him & Katie? Where are her parents? I was 18 yrs old and found my true love. Yes, I was infactuated, head over heels for a MAN close to 7 years my senior. My Mother sat me down and had a long talk starting with he is not a Boy but a Man, 2 tours of duty as a Marine in the Viet Nam war, then an Iron worker, connecting steel on the top of the World Trade Center. My Mother said he is ready to settledown and there is a big Commitment here. Are you ready for this?? Well I guess I was. We were married that Nov and it will be 34 years and My Heart still flutters when he drives into our driveway!! But as far as Tom Cruise (or anyone his age) trying to date our 26 year old daughter! He wouldn’t be smiling so much, because my husband would have left him with out teeth!! Who is the Adult Here?? It certainly isn’t Tom!!
And as far as Freedom of Speech! Approx 15 yrs ago, my brother in law was in a Tavern in Hoboken (which Tom’s sister owned) she had his pics plastered all over the place, and I do understand that. I guess I would do the same if I was very proud of someone in my family & he was famous. However, in conversation he said to his friend that he thought Tom was Gay. No Big Deal, believe what you want. But she listened in and then tried to have him removed for saying what he thought. He didn’t know she was his sister nor did he care!! She sure took the money that he left on the BAR!! I will call him tonight and tell him that I Now, believe he was right, why so many realtionships, no children and they all had to sign confidentciality clauses, Why? What is it that he does not want known about him? Except what we all know now, he has turned into an arragant jerk!
Maybe he will become a “Psychiatrist” when he grows up and he gets his HS Diploma!!
Funny! Reminds me of another Cruise diagram I found in The Buffalo Beast’s special Cruise issue:
Cruise makes a good point about this country being over-medicated. We are overly dependent on pharmaceuticals for a variety of reasons and most us, myself included, could probably live more healthful lifestyles. That said, rescue meds for crisis situations, like postpartum depression are used as intervention meds alongside counseling to help women through what is usually an intense, but short term problem. There is simply no excuse for Cruise to use women in an extremely vulnerable position as a rallying point for his cause about the over-reliance of Americans on medication. If Cruise were serious about changing American behavior, he might start with the over reliance of men on Viagra. That, Mr. Cruise, would be picking on somebody your own size.
i hate you
Hey…
To all those who love to live on drugs and who defend the flakes who say it is helping our kids and young adults to drug them up, I say read this information first:
http://www.forbes.com/lifestyle/health/feeds/hscout/2005/07/01/hscout526657.html
Tom Cruise might be the one getting the last laugh here.
I already emailed Dr. Drew asking if he would offer Tom a public apology on television if a larger study proves a link between these medicines and childhood and young adult cancers.
After reading the above I am amazed that so many people are still buying into the big pharmaceutical and AMA’s brainwashing.
It is sad that our country is so mind-controlled that it fights for the very forces that are destroying it.
Please, do some research and find out what is really going on in this country.
Truthseeker
Being a psychiatrist, I agree that some people are wanting medication to fix their problems. Good psychiatric treatment is not all about medication but also about helping our patients achieve a heathier lifestyle. In some cases medication becomes necessary. Unfortunately, Tom does not believe in psychopharmocology or psychotherapy. How scary is that? I understand that scientology is important to him but to feel that his way is the only right way to treat mental illness is incredibly arrogant.
You all just shut up!!!Tom Cruise Has a million watt smile!!It’s so cute .And you should too!!Tom Cruise is just in love everyone falls in love. How would you like it if someone accused you of acting like you loved someone when you really love them???This is NOT!!!!,a publicity stunt So EVERYONE JUST BACK OFF Tom Cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******
I’m just irritated at Tom Cruise for speaking off the cuff and evidently without much knowledge about a topic which is in DIRE need of discussion. In all fairness, tho, I think he was baited. From what I understand (correct me if wrong), he was asked about Scientology and then given an example–Brooke Shields–of someone who’d been helped by antidepressants. Also, from what he said I gather that he wasn’t criticizing her for having PPD but for sort of promoting Paxil. While I think Brooke Shields should be free to speak about what helped her I also think this sort of thing is a crapshoot and her happy outcome with Paxil is as much of a lucky break as Tom Cruise overcoming dyslexia without help. Psychiatry is s’posed to be a science but by-and-large, the profession hasn’t upheld scientific standards (and psychology is more aptly a philosophy). These “meds” might target effects/symptoms/what-have-you of mental problems, but contrary to hype, no “chemical imbalance” has ever been pinpointed (I dislike term “meds” b/c these drugs do not treat objectively identifiable diseases…anyone convinced of biological model of depression, for ex., should check out “The New Antidepressants and Antianxieties” by Appleton, incidentally a book very much in favor of SSRIs, which discusses how diagnostic criteria for depression was altered to show more effectiveness of drugs–physical symptoms were added to mood descriptors so drugs would outperform placebos…”disease” was tailored to fit drug, not vice-versa). What a laugh, too, when they started carting out all these psychiatrists on TV to talk about hormonal fluctuations of PPD as if Paxil corrects such imbalances. It doesn’t–it acts on serotonin, and any effects on hormones are incidental and likely even less understood than its effect on that neurotransmitter. Also, can’t help but think Brooke Shields had a certain experience w/ psychiatry because she’s Brooke Shields. Doubtful she’d get some wacky cocktail without follow-up as your average Jane Doe–for example, Andrea Yates–might get if the first drug failed. Last note: as much of an ass as he may be, kudos to Tom Cruise for telling off that simpering nitwit Matt Lauer. I hate that fucker.
I assume this game comes in the Kelly Preston edition, for the young lady in your life?
Cruise maybe partially right about phsycology and such. But unless he has ever been “instutionalized” and held down then given shots against his will,he should try it. At the local V.A. hospital near him. Sometimes you need a Bigger Hammer!
As for the Scientology BULLSHIT! L. Ron Hubbard’s Dad was enthralled by Aliester Crowley. Supposedly when Crowley died Old L. Ron himself was born, and Mr. Hubbard stated that he thought Crowley was re-born in his son. Ain’t that the Shits? When Crowley was in Italy an assistant and him conjured up dead gladiators,in the Roman Collisuem.Using Black Magic. He was once called the most wicked man alive. And was told to leave the country by Benito Mussolinni, while in Italy.
For a peek inside of his mind read “Magick in Theory and Practice”
Holy Moses!! That’s it. First I thought Tom was just over zealous to the point of sheer rudeness. Now that I found out about their “secret” level…Xenu?? Whoa!! Yes,yes without a doubt….. he’s nuts. To spend six digit figure amount of money to find out that “thetans”…or whatever they call, them are stuck on you…please!!You have to thoroughly, without a doubt, be brainwashed before you to get to that “level” and believe THAT!! Guess their just making sure that their process worked.
There taking advantage of people. Even if they “kick you out”( I guess that means you tend to think for yourself), you still owe them money, and they will badger you for it, and more.
A self help group to start with…..then it’s away with, XENU a flippin’ Intergalactic WAR LORD, oh for Chr…
Ok, Ok what does it have to do with that interview, yes, I think for myself. I always thought that Rx drugs are being taken advantage of people that don’t need them, because of the pharmaceutical companies greed. But I wouldn’t expect someone grand mal seizures to take a vitamin while the seizure is in progress, they NEED Dilantin IV STAT!! Or expect someone having a psychotic episode to be ok after a vitamin C!!
I think I’m more upset of the fact so many people can’t see it coming. I’ve already let my teenagers know about them (and other cults ). And they could’t stop laughing at the $1,000, 000 “secret” .
I’ve been reading up on this issue for quite some time, and I’ve noticed a few things that are almost always present in regards to the people posting comments:
-Most to all of them are anti-Scientologists.
-Many of the anti-Scientologists don’t actually comment on Tom Cruise’s comments, but rather Scientology, its Church and founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
-They have conflicting information on why Scientology is so bad. Such as one person will say if you are a Scientologist you can’t talk to anyone who disagrees with Scientology while another one says if you are a Scientologist you can’t have contact with any non-Scientologist.
-Most of the commentors give hypocritical/contradictory statements, such as, “Tom Cruise should only talk about acting.” So a computer technician should only talk about computers? “Tom Cruise isn’t a doctor.” Neither are you. Why are you commenting? “He has never had a child of his own so how would he know about Postpartum Depression?” Well, you’re right. It’s physically impossible for him to give birth. However, if you have to experience something to be able to comment on it, every doctor that ever did research on cancer would have had to have cancer, and that would slow things down. I could go on but there are TONS of these.
-There are always some comments regarding Tom’s looks, acting and movies.
-Someone feels the need to mention Katie Holmes and the whole “Tom Kat” thing.
-Often someone says Katie is converting to Scientology. If you convert, however, you have to give up your pre-existing religion and nowhere has she said she is no longer Catholic.
-99% of the commentors don’t display any real knowledge of the subjects Tom is talking about other than perhaps their own personal experience with whatever mental illness they or someone else had.
-99% of the commentors have no medical degree themselves.
-Almost always no one mentions the follow-up “Today Show” interview with the Harvard professor that supported Tom Cruise.
-Most used hate-filled juvenille remarks that look as though they had been written by some “bada*s” 14-year-old.
There are probably a few other things but I can’t recall them off-hand. But all these are telling of something….
Tom has every right to express his opinion on psychiatric medicine, we live in a free country. However, I feel he was rude and insensitive as his remarks were made personal when he referred to Brook Shields experience with PPD after her first child.
Have an opinion Tom but don’t critize others for having their own opinion too!!!
Tom Cruise was awesome taking on Matt Laur. Somebody needs to put moron Matt in his place. The guy is an arrogant freak!
Tom was right on with his info on the stupid drugs too. EVERY ailment in life CAN BE overcome with a healthy diet. First though I would recommend a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That would be the ultimate answer for any depressed person.
Take it easy on Tom.
He is not S Hussein neither bin Laden.
He is in a cult, and you can see what it does to people. Tom is not an exception.
He tried to communicate his mission, what the church of scientology told him.
I feel bad for Tom because he don’t deserve that.
His success is his own, not thanks to the church. He made it before and BIG.
I was very surprised by his behaviour on the Today Show. I’ve never seen him like that.
I have the feeling something is going wrong, and not just bi-polar insinuations.
It look like there is no way to escape the scientology’s clutches. Plus, if Tom is so important to their image, he has obviously no chances to get out off it.
Scientology is all over him, his life.
His spokesister sucks.
His laywer sucks.
Hollywood sucks.
Tabloïds sucks.
Mimi Rogers is a b*tch.
scientology sucks (never too many times to say).
His father was a mad man.
His franciscan school sucked.
What a sad environment Tom is in.
Ah Tom. Good luck honey.
Hope the day will come you’ll get ride of this.
It has been my experience, after many years of personal observation, that most short men tend to have a “Napoleon Complex” (with apologies of course to those few short men who are true exceptions). This usually manifests as a strong need to exhibit an aura of superiority and power. These short men compensate by becoming control freaks and are often physical or psychological bullies. Being a petite woman myself, I have unfortunately suffered more than my share of these little Napoleons. Tom Cruise is a prime example of same.
Tom Cruise. Ha ha. I still remember how he has said, years ago, how he was raised by women and they “used to put him on the sink when he was little, and practice kissing” him.
Jealous? Ok , maybe i am, a little. But anybody who has seen his acting in “Born on the Fourth of July” will realize this guy hasnt touched reality since 1979. He’s had an easy, pussy, over-paid and over indulged lifestyle and is totally out of the loop about EVERYTHING. He’s your retard neighbor. He’s the kid in the little yellow bus, reality wise. This guy has absolutely NO valid views on ANYTHING. Period!
Of course, thats just my opinion. I could be wrong.
I am not a Tom Cruise fan. I do not study Scientology. Despite that I do agree with Tom Cruise and his crusade on the today show. Many posts here claim cruise isn’t college educated and is not qualified to make his opinions. What he really was saying is he does not beleive in psychiatry nor the use of drugs for bipolar disorder and depression. My sister, she of her JD from the university of chicago and undergrad from UVA, has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. she is early thirties. never having any trouble before until a broken relationship, she is relegated to living with my parents with the personality of a 15 year old. she was put on medication. the horror and heartbreak the ensuing months will require more explanation than this post will provide. in that time i researched the “anti-depression drugs and medications” prescribed by a family psychiatist who later was more interested in gossip with my family circle of friends and aquaintances than a doctor/patient relationship. I discovered in my quest to help my sister. bipolar medicines have not been proven to actually work and depression medications are the same. You are entrusting the alteration of chemicals by ingestion when these applications are used. It is not food or drink, nor a necessary supplement provided in nature. Katie Couric brought 2 well respected psychiatrists to refute Cruise, they could not. I am an advocate now of making sure relationships with family are kept well.. we all have troubles and even post partum depression has been overcome w/out drugs by the proper emotional support by family. the long term affects more lasting than any medications.. be careful all…remember science is a man made creation….psychological problems are a human trait brought about by emotions…only humans have that ability…drugs play with the nature of the body:chemically and psychologically….do not ignore the many who suffer, simple drugs, given by family, are a way of curing the shame…hopefully..without the natural therapy of open care…
The Gizmo is brilliand but you give us too many options. And you left out Tom cruise is a
nut case. Be more careful next time!
-99% of the commentors don’t display any real knowledge of the subjects Tom is talking about other than perhaps their own personal experience with whatever mental illness they or someone else had.
“-99% of the commentors have no medical degree themselves.”
But Tom Cruise has a medical degree, does he? Are body thetans and xenu well established scientific facts? Do tell!
“-Almost always no one mentions the follow-up “Today Show” interview with the Harvard professor that supported Tom Cruise.”
Who was that? Peter breggin? Thomas Szasz?
-Most used hate-filled juvenille remarks that look as though they had been written by some “bada*s” 14-year-old.
I LOVE tom and the ignorant ufo cult started by the bastard
L.Ron!
“There are probably a few other things but I can’t recall them off-hand. But all these are telling of something….”
What would that be? That you’re generally incapable of critical thought?
“You are entrusting the alteration of chemicals by ingestion when these applications are used. It is not food or drink, nor a necessary supplement provided in nature.”
Really? So what? What are attempting to say?
“Katie Couric brought 2 well respected psychiatrists to refute Cruise, they could not”
I doubt that very much, but you’re probably incapable of honesty about alot of things!
“Tom Cruise was awesome taking on Matt Laur. Somebody needs to put moron Matt in his place. The guy is an arrogant freak!”
The “arrogant freak” was Mister cruise and his ufo cult ranting about medicine!
“Tom was right on with his info on the stupid drugs too. EVERY ailment in life CAN BE overcome with a healthy diet.”
Oh really? Cancer? Gun shot wounds? That’s utter HORSESHIT! It’s a great way to kill yourself! Have fun!!!
“First though I would recommend a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That would be the ultimate answer for any depressed person.”
Unfortunatly, born again christians have higher rates of depression because of beliefs just like the one you just stated.
Of course I don’t believe in scientology; heck I don’t believe in a lot of things people might require me to have “faith” regarding. To describe someone as being in need of psychiatric care because they DO believe in such things is insulting and potentially hyprocritical: Insulting to those who may genuinely suffer from a disease requiring care, and hypocritical in that “mainstream” religions and indeologies appear no less fantastical to a great many people.
As for Tom, let him believe what he wants. AS annoying as many people find him, I don’t think he is a ‘bad’ person. Indeed, I think he is tremedously insecure in his need to be loved by the public; but if anything, this classifies him as a “nice guy”, not some evil monster trying to brainwash people. Regarding the “hurtful personal comments” about his ex-wife, i read(I know i shouldnt be reading those kind of publications) that he subsequently went around and offered a heart-felt apology to her. See, a nice guy who wants to be loved.
Ho hum.
Its my opinion that by concentrating on Cruise, and the other celebrities that endorse this organisation, we are only falling in line with the plan that the leaders of it are executing. Publicity, interest, curiosity… Everything that Tom Cruise says is scripted, he’s just a face for a much larger, and more threatening problem. By attaching other statements to certain truths i.e. America’s problem with Drug dependency, he’s attempting to make things Black and White i.e. All ‘phys’ and ‘psy’ sciences are false… and its siply not as straight cut as that. One thing is obvious to me though, if this thing grows anywhere, it’ll be in America first.
Wow, i totally agree with this one awesome.
