Mr. O'Neal was really belivable as a Polish-language speaker ... kudos to his accent coach!

Plus, the cat-wrangler with his tiny Nepeta cataria lasso? Standing O from this gal!

Nice to see so many people finding work on your projects - Danza, Woz, Sheen...

Truly charity does begin at home. Or Zalesie, Poland, in this case.

[ People are happy to help because unless you're harvesting something, there's just not a lot to do. -B. ]

Apologizing in advance for a comment that really has nothing to do with Poland, but do you know why Google in its unfathomable wisdom serves up ads for The Bidet Outlet, "Start the healthy Habit today" www.bidetsamerica.com, Toto Washlets, "Free Shipping!", and Japanese Toilet, flushmate.com on Banterist? It could be something as simple as the title of your post "Unfortunate Products," making Google think I'm in the market for a bidet, or even a Japanese bidet. But it makes me wonder how Google has reached this odd conclusion about my online shopping habits.
All the best,
Ann

[ I suppose if any of us understood Google's magical formula we'd be billionaires. I'm seeing ads for flat stomachs and paralegal training. -B. ]

I think those ads appear because of that hilarious and frighteningly accurate description you wrote of a Chinese squattie potty (I live in China, so can attest to the accuracy - just had to squat last weekend, and I'm still shakng).

p.s. read the book and loved it - that's how I found my way to this website.

I'm utterly without words.

Except these.

Oddly popular amongst legal professionals.
