This was delightful. I hope you make Playmobil re-enactments a regular feature.

Don't forget, since you used the Playmobil as part of your "work" you are now entitled to a tax deduction for it :-)

Playmobils rock! My son has a "park ranger" that looks pretty suspicious to me!

This is a story I heard from several people about 3 years ago, though I don't know whether it falls into the category of "urban rumor" or not. Anyway, seems there was an employee at Toys R Us that was passed over for promotion and was assigned to the graveyard shift. During his inspection of the aisles, he noticed that a Barbie Doll package had been opened and that one of Barbie's articulated legs had broken off and was lost. On an impulse, he found an appropriaqtely sized piece of wood and rammed it into the Barbie doll and wrote on the box "New! Peg-leg Barbie". Inspired by this bit of industrial sabotage he went on to alter other packages, including "Crack-Ho Barbie" (which required a whole other costume)and "Handicapped Barbie", which required apparatuses. Well, customers both flocked and freaked as is the case in America and our hero got sacked. What a shame. Clearly an artistus interruptus.
