Report: Officer witnessed the crime during the evening broadcast of the news. Thanks to advancements in modern technology (i.e.: TiVo) the officer was able to pause and photograph the crime mere seconds after it was committed.

A fine of only $310!? You must have left off a zero. Three-hundred and ten dollars is barely a slap on the wrist. This is news station, not a yard sale! It reaches a great number of people. The fine should at least be proportional to the penalty they would face if they put up an obscenity.
Also it looks like the anchor babe and the reporter are having a staring contest.

Fantastic! Perhaps I should start archiving the audio of all of the dangling participles I hear on my local newscast. My most recent favorite -- a woman was shot by a drive-by shooter in her kitchen.

Absolutely classic. This reminds me of a craigslist ad I saw for an apartment the other day where the ad described that there was extra storage in the garbage. (obviously, they meant garage)
