"The Something Something":
Robert Ludlum, a verbaphobic, runs out of book titles that begin with 'The' and have two nouns...and is reduced to calling all future books "The Something Something", volumes 1 through 40. A thrilling tale of someone losing his memory and having to find something while someone else tries to stop him while something else happens for a 1,000 pages.
