Complaint: Incorporation of an apostrophe in the construction of a plural noun - a misdemeanor; making grammatical error permanent and mounting on a surface so as to expose said error to Alaskans and visitors to Alaska - also a misdemeanor.
Defendant: Vendor specializing in the development and consumption of Alaska-style Indian tacos, a never-before-heard-of foodstuff that defies further understanding at this juncture.
Report: Officer C. Pfeifer was on patrol in Homer, Alaska. Officer claims to have been enticed by the notion of having a "taco" but was unsure if there were more than one available for consumption.
Fine: A paper of no less than eight pages explaining what an Alaska-style Indian taco might be.

LOL -- That was way too funny. I find the random advertisements quite humorous. I also find your "Complaints and Fines" posts to be rather extensive and gut-busting also.
Very funny.

I guess the submissions must be funny to make it then, eh? I though my "Need to Sale" pic was funny, but lo, and it was known to the land, that the submission was not funny enough in the Lord's sight...........

*warning: pendant approaching*
err... the thing is that "pages" is a countable noun, and therefore strictly speaking the fine should read:
A paper of no fewer than eight pages explaining what an Alaska-style Indian taco might be.
(just in case you'd like to add countable und uncountable to the misdemeanour list)
I LOVE Grammar Cop, by the way. It makes me laugh like a drain every time. Oh, and I'm allowed to spell misdemeanour with a "u" because I learnt British English at school. So there. :-)

OK, I'm going to give a shot at explaining indian tacos, and then you will have to speculate on what an Alaskan-style one might be, because I don't have a clue.
An indian taco is fry bread, topped with some variation on chili beans (usually canned), shredded American cheese, iceburg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, salsa, and sometimes meat. They're surprisingly yummy, in that same kinda-trashy-food way in which pot pies and fried chicken are yummy.
The exact toppings vary from region to region; maybe the Alaskan style ones use whale blubber or minced seal.
