Grammar Cop: Fromage narcissique?

vain.JPG

Complaint: Misdemeanor spelling. Possession of self-centered Roquefort with intent to distribute.

Defendant: Cheese counter, Garden of Eden.

Report: Officer was again awaiting delivery of one pound of delicious Bacon Lover's Turkey when the offending cheese passed by in a cart going at a low rate of speed. When the cart came to a stop, officer approached the driver and requested permission to search the cart. The driver granted permission and the offending cheese was removed, photographed, and released on its own recognizance.

Fine: $75

Perhaps it's a warning to customers that this cheese serves no purpose.

the real crime here is that they're charging $18 a pound for this moldy varicose mess. and that someone is paying it. yeesh.

Had that been noticed, they could have been fined in pounds (Roquefort, not Sterling).

Maybe the cheese is just really fond of itself.

The only thing a hot cheese like that wants is fondue.

Well, it IS French cheese, after all.

Sacre Bleu-cheese!
